Lent Day 27: Acupuncture is as good as it gets, for now

The only regular human touch I get these days is from my acupuncturists who I see once or twice a week. It's been awhile since I've experienced intimate touch, but so far, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is enough.

The one modality that I respond best is tuina (twee-nah). It's massage of various channels which correspond to body locations.

I have residual chronic pain in my left forehead from the shingles I had in 2013. The physical manipulation of my gall bladder and bladder channels has been helpful, but not totally curative.

What I need is for my acupuncturist to follow me around all the time. Maybe that will be enough contact to fix what's ailing me.
