Disgustingly Delicious

Food truly is miserable, especially here in America where so much food is loaded with calories and fat. When I was younger I thought I knew what it meant to be healthy, but today I’m convinced that healthy doesn’t exist within my country. A double Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese from McDonalds contains 840 calories. For someone like myself who only burns around 2000 calories a day, that one sandwich means I won’t be having any dinner if I want to stay within my limits. It feels like all the food around me whether at home or at restaurants is just so disgustingly unhealthy, and unfortunately very tasty. I actually don’t eat out anymore because I know that if I’m going to eat out I can only have one meal that day and eating once a day is quite the mental challenge. I hate the state of food in the United States but alas I have no interest whatsoever in cooking or learning more about nutrition, perhaps if I did I would be able to feel as if I were truly healthy. I suppose I’ll just continue to track my calories and stay within my limits, I see no other feasible way.
