Lent Day 14: Be good and do no harm

I'm easily self-entertained and as such, not much of a social director. Jesus tells the story about the rich guy who ends up banished to hell for ignoring a poor fellow named Lazarus.

Lazarus was a humble guy and was taken up to heaven. The rich guy pleads with Abraham to let him cool his tongue by touching Lazarus. Abraham tells him, "No way."

Nor do I get bored or crave the companionship of others and don't need a Lazarus to cool my tongue to bear the heat of Hades.

I'm happy to sit by myself and binge watch TV shows and movies. I think it has to do with me wanting to live an adventuresome life of a James Bond or Batman.

I got much of that out of my system when I was younger, although given a chance, I'd jump out of an airplane hoping for a soft landing because I led my life being good doing no harm.
