Thankfully, I don’t belong to any communities. I prefer the freedom of solitude, alas, communities tie you down, and there’s nothing I hate more than being tied down. In my lifetime I want to be free of all holds placed on me by society and law.
My strongest opinions are the most unpopular. My belief system is simple: I believe that people should be able to do whatever they want as long as they’re not harming anyone else, and if they are, then it’s with their consent. This system of beliefs is called libertarianism. There are too many restrictive laws today from all sides, books should not be banned and people should not be blacklisted for making a mistake. After all, I’d rather my enemy speak their truth rather than hide their disdain for me in the shadows.
I won’t share what my strongest views are in regard to because today’s society simply isn’t ready to hear them, and for some odd reason, everybody just seems to want to control everybody else around them and I don’t understand it. Why can’t everyone just mind their own business? If you believe something is right or wrong then use those beliefs to guide your own life, but what gives you any right to control the lives of others?
I hate the current state of time we’re living in, and the future is something I’m afraid of. I’m very disappointed in all the leaders I see around me, from my principal, to the superintendent of my school district, all the way to the governor in my state's office. Why are a bunch of failures getting to impose their beliefs on the rest of us as rules we must abide by?
Alas, the world is failing in regard to freedom, and I fear that eventually there will be no coming back. Clearly, we have not learned very well from history.
