A fair go

This is a difficult topic to write about given the state of affairs in the world at the moment and a nation is made up of human beings who are far from perfect. I also realize that I write this wearing rose coloured glasses. The first mark would be a recognition of its members not having all the answers for the problems that human life presents and an acceptance that many things are unknown and learning to live with this knowledge. the second mark would to have a clear aim of caring for the earth. I do not have any easy solution for this to occur but the destruction of many parts of the earth for profit for a small group or business is causing havoc in parts of the world where animal and human habitat is being destroyed with disastrous consequences The third mark is a nation that speaks less and listens more to its own people as well as its neighbors throughout the world. The final mark is a nation which sees itself and its members as people of value and having a belief in something greater than themselves who I call God and yet could have many other names which allows every person to live in peace with themselves and with one another.
